We carefully source premium-quality seeds from trusted growers in New Zealand and around the world. Due to New Zealand's strict import requirements, international freight costs, and biosecurity regulations, these seeds are not commonly available locally. Be among the few growers in New Zealand cultivating this unique variety.

Seed Type: Fresh Golden Raspberry seeds.

Origin: Europe and Northern Asia.

Growth Habit: Deciduous cane fruit reaching approximately 1–2 metres tall, producing arching canes and soft edible berries.

Germination: Raspberry seeds can be slow and may benefit from cold stratification. Sow in a free-draining seed mix, keep moist and be patient. Germination may take several weeks to several months.

Climate: To get a head start, or if you are in colder climates, start growing your seeds indoors so they are well established before summer. In the North Island, Golden Raspberry grows best in cooler regions or sheltered spots with afternoon shade. In the South Island, it is well suited to many areas and generally performs well with winter chill and summer moisture.

Fruit: Produces soft golden-yellow berries with a sweet, delicate raspberry flavour.

Flowers: Produces small white flowers that attract bees and beneficial pollinators.

Fruiting: Typically begins producing fruit within 1–2 years once plants are established.

Care: Prefers fertile free-draining soil, regular watering and support for canes. Prune after fruiting to encourage healthy new growth.
