Cherimoya Seeds (Fresh)

Cherimoya is a beautiful evergreen fruit tree that produces large green fruit with creamy, custard-like flesh and an exquisite tropical flavour often described as a blend of banana, pineapple, mango and vanilla. These fresh seeds are ideal for growers wanting to raise this highly prized fruit tree from seed.
Seed Type: Fresh Cherimoya seeds.
Origin: The Andes Mountains of South America.
Growth Habit: Evergreen fruit tree reaching approximately 5–9 metres at maturity. Ideal for home gardens, orchards and lifestyle properties.
Climate: Thrives in warm temperate, subtropical and frost-free climates. Prefers full sun, fertile well-drained soil and protection from strong winds and heavy frosts while young.
Germination: Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours before sowing 10–15 mm deep in a free-draining seed-raising mix. Keep warm (20–28°C) and consistently moist but not waterlogged. Germination typically occurs within 3–8 weeks.
Fruit: Produces heart-shaped green fruit with smooth to lightly textured skin. The creamy white flesh is exceptionally sweet, aromatic and often regarded as one of the finest-tasting fruits in the world.
Flowers: Produces unusual fragrant greenish-yellow flowers during spring and summer. Hand pollination can improve fruit set in some climates.
Fruiting: Typically begins producing fruit within 3–6 years from seed under good growing conditions.
Care: Prefers full sun, fertile free-draining soil and regular watering while establishing. Feed during the growing season to encourage healthy growth and abundant fruit production.
